Equal Opportunity Committee

The Equal Opportunity Committee is comprised of members, whom the Rectorate appoints upon the recommendation of the Senate. It counsels and supports the University and the Equal Opportunity Officer. It is tasked with overseeing the drafting, (interim) evaluation and further development of the framework plan for gender equality, as well as the gender equality plans in the faculties and central administrative units. The committee is also involved in the internal budgetary allocation process. In coordination with the faculty representatives for equal opportunity, the committee is responsible for suggesting candidates for the post of Principal Equal Opportunity Officer and his/her deputy. The committee normally convenes twice a semester.
