On the occasion of the nationwide closing event Quantum100, part of the Year of Quantum 2025, held in Münster (https://www.quantum100.de/), the presidents of the Japanese and German Physical Societies signed the joint “Declaration for the Future” (https://www.dpg-physik.de/veroeffentlichungen/publikationen/stellungnahmen-der-dpg/abruestung-und-sicherheitsfragen/declaration-for-the-future) in the Friedenssaal. Japan’s by far largest science magazine provided a detailed explanation of the background and reported on Quantum100 in a 15-page spread in its March 2026 issue.
