Nichtlineare Mikroskopie

In meiner Promotion beschäftige ich mich mit kohärenter Raman-Streuung. Dabei handelt es sich um Prozesse, die in der Mikroskopie ausgenutzt werden, um Moleküle innerhalb einer Probe zu identifizieren. Im Speziellen arbeite ich daran, die Anregungsstrahlen und auch die Detektion des entstehenden Signals zu modifizieren, um rauschärmere und untergrundfreie Mikroskopiebilder zu erzeugen. An diesem Thema zu arbeiten macht mir Spaß, da hinter der Raman-Mikroskopie ein großes und sich schnell entwickelndes Anwendungsfeld steht.
