The newly established Center for Data Science and Complexity (CDSC) will celebrate its opening on Monday, February 9, with a kick-off and expo event under the motto “Connecting Disciplines Through Shared Methods.” The CDSC is a central scientific institution at the University of Münster and brings together researchers from various disciplines whose methodological or theoretical research focuses on the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mathematical modeling, scientific computing, and complex systems. In addition to exciting keynotes, the program also includes a poster expo and networking session, at which the ZIN will be represented with a poster in the “Campus Connections” segment. Prof. Dr. Tillmann Buttschardt and Managing Director Fynn Schmidt will participate on behalf of the ZIN.
