ZIN-member Fabian Dielmann receives award for junior researchers

ZIN-member Dr. Fabian Dielmann is awarded the “Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Preis” for his research on catalytic processes for the chemical transformation of the greenhouse gases sulfur hexafluoride and carbon dixode. The award is considered the most important one for junior researchers in Germany and is granted annually by the German Research Foundation and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research . Since 1977, the award honors the research of junior scholars from all disciplines without a tenured professorship. In addition to Fabian Dielmann, ten other junior scholars and their research are recognized this year and receive the prize money of 20.000€. They will receive the prize in a celebratory ceremony in Berlin on May 28.
