Zentrale Kustodie & Culture Office

The Zentrale Kustodie is one of the central service providers [en] of Münster University. Conceived by the rectorate in 2015 to support the scientific collections in common matters it became - due to the integration of the culture office in 2017 - the central place for cultural initiatives on campus. In addition to this the Zentrale Kustodie takes care of the universities art collections.

If you wish to partake in the myriad projects underway across the University, our Kulturatlas(cultural directory) lists all the choirs, bands, orchestras, theatre and performance groups active on campus (that we know of), along with information on the most important arts and cultural spaces on campus. Several of these groups are on a constant look out for new members, therefore: Don't be shy!

Interested in spearheading your own cultural project? You can apply for financial aid at the University Culture Fonds.
The Kulturbüro also provides advice and guidance with applying for non-University grants and sponsorships.
Our services also include assistance with marketing and public relations [de].
