Nicola Mößner is a visiting professor at the Institute of Philosophy, Leibniz University Hannover since 2022. She works on philosophy of science (especially open science, visualisations and scientific images, Ludwik Fleck, science communication), social epistemology (testimony, trust, expertise), picture theory and media philosophy. She is author of “Visual Representations in Science – Concept and Epistemology”  (Routledge 2018) and editor (with Klaus Erlach) of “Kalibrierung der Wissenschaft – Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung auf die wissenschaftliche Erkenntnis”  (transcript 2022).
