Asela Dissanayake is a lecturer attached to Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and has been a Junior Fellow in the project “Digital Access to Library Content – Legal Frameworks in Germany and Sri Lanka” at the Centre for Advanced Study since 2026. He Dissanayake obtained his LL. B (Honours) degree at the Faculty of Law, Universities of Colombo and LL.M in International Business Law at Institute of International Business Law, Fribourg University, Switzerland. Further, he holds LL.M in Criminal Justice at Sri Lanka Open University. Since 2023, he has continuously held teaching positions at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. His research interests include Copy Rights, Anti-Corruption Law and Criminal Law.
