2004-11-18  GSC-MS Celebrates Graduation Day
After the first three students had finished their doctoral degree already in July (see 2004-07-12), there were now 13
graduates of the class of 2001, who followed with a celebration. Kristina Beck, Jan Dirk Epping, Gudimalla Nagaraju,
Mar'yana Lukachuk, César García Plumed, Jens Reinisch, Björn Schröder, Pramod Sagar, David Schnieders,
Deepak Shendage, Cun Wang, and Wenbin Zeng received their doctoral certificates from the Minister for Science and Research
of the Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia, Mrs. Hannelore Kraft. Most of the students of the class of 2001 had
been able to finish their doctoral degree within three years. Minister Kraft spoke about an ongoing success story of the NRW Graduate
Schools.
