| The
NRW Graduate School of Chemistry In October 2001 the International NRW Graduate School of Chemistry (GSC-MS), “Molecular Functional Structures and Solid State Materials”, was constituted at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster with funding from the Ministry of Science and Education of the federal state of Northrhine Westphalia (NRW). This Graduate School offers a new three-year PhD program in chemistry. Fellowships or other funding are available in several grant programs at our institution, but students with their own funding / fellowship are also encouraged to apply. A high motivation for science and research, as well as an excellent academic record are required for admission. Applications can be submitted via the online platform which can be found under the link Application Procedure (see above). Change in application deadline: Our application deadline has been extended to March 13, 2017, because we are now cooperating with a just emerging new "Graduate School in Molecules and Interfaces".
