Publication service for electronic and printed books

The Benelux / Low Countries Studies Specialist Information Service (FID Benelux) is committed to making academically relevant literature on the Benelux countries available online as comprehensively and freely as possible. To support this aim, the FID provides various services relating to open-access publishing – including Benelux OA Publications.book, a service that enables authors and editors to publish monographs and series in open access.

As an author, you simply grant the University and State Library of Münster, as the operator of FID Benelux, a 'simple right of use'. This means you retain the freedom at all times to republish your work in a different form or elsewhere, should the need arise.

If, in addition to the electronic version, you wish to have a printed version of the work or series, this is possible. If you decide to publish in print alongside the electronic version, we will be happy to advise you on the options available to you.
