International Open Access Week 2026: "The Price of Knowledge"
The 17th International Open Access Week will take place from October 19 to 25, 2026. Under the theme "The Price of Knowledge" we'll highlight a different aspect of open knowledge each day in the ULB News and on the FachBlog: —ranging from publication costs and unpaid research work to fair conditions for academia. If you have any questions about academic publishing, our teams will be happy to advise you – all year round.
DFG video: "Die Zeit ist reif – Perspektiven zum wissenschaftsgeleiteten Publizieren"
A video initiated and funded by the DFG in which five researchers from various disciplines discuss the present and future of science-driven publishing. The focus is particularly on reconnecting publishing with academia, as well as on the tools, media, and infrastructure that support this.
