Open access publications and costs at the University of Münster: Get an overview!
Publication and cost monitoring aims to systematically record, analyse and monitor scientific publications and their cost structures. This process is intended to create transparency and support well-founded decisions in the context of an open science strategy. In particular, the development of publication trends, open access costs (such as Article Processing Charges – APCs) and access to research results are monitored and analysed in order to enable data-based decision-making.

The OpenAPC Initiative has set up a platform that makes transparent those costs involved in paying open access publication charges for articles (APCs) and for books (BPCs).
