Concept

Labour law acknowledges workers’ private care work in various ways, such as granting them the right to take time off, or adapt their working arrangements. Nevertheless, private care work is still legally constituted as the Other of employment. Against the backdrop of feminist critiques of subjective rights, this workshop will discuss the potential of individual accommodation rights to promote structural and sustainable changes in the workplace.
