Crystallization lab

The division Biochemistry & Structural Biology at the Institute of Biochemistry maintains a crystallization lab for the production of protein crystals for structure determination by X-ray crystallography. The available equipment includes:

  • RockImager R1000 plate storage and documentation (Formulatrix)
  • Pipetting robot for crystallization trays (Gryphon, ARI)
  • Incubators for plate storage (4 °C, 12 °C, 20 °C)
  • Stereo microscopes (Nikon)

 

Access to the facility is possible for interested users independently or in collaboration. Requests can be sent to:
