Who doesn't get hungry when working in the lab and building protein models? We certainly do! So we spontaneously went to an Italian restaurant for dinner together.

Almost the whole group joined this years Leonardo Campus run for the 5 km distance at the University of Münster.

On the second day of our retreat, we went on a long hike to explore the area around Horn-Bad Meinberg and get to see the famous Externsteine.

In 2025, we traveled to the Friedrich Blecher House in Horn-Bad Meinberg for a few days to spend our lab retreat. In addition to exploring the surroundings and discussing science in the green park, we played many different games.

Most of the group attended the 76th Mosbacher Kolloquium “AI-driven (r)evolution in structural biology & protein design” of the GBM. A great opportunity for scientific discussions and networking for the most junior to senior people in the lab. Plus: René took home one of the poster prizes!
