For this year’s Retreat we went to the university’s house in Rothenberge. Next to many fruitful scientific discussions we also had a lot of fun activities.
This year we went again to the Mosbacher Kolloquium with the topic “More than Lipidic Barriers – New Horizons in Membrane Biology”. We attended many interesting lectures and presented our own works here!
Who doesn't get hungry when working in the lab and building protein models? We certainly do! So we spontaneously went to an Italian restaurant for dinner together.
In 2025, we traveled to the Friedrich Blecher House in Horn-Bad Meinberg for a few days to spend our lab retreat. In addition to exploring the surroundings and discussing science in the green park, we played many different games.
Most of the group attended the 76th Mosbacher Kolloquium “AI-driven (r)evolution in structural biology & protein design” of the GBM. A great opportunity for scientific discussions and networking for the most junior to senior people in the lab. Plus: René took home one of the poster prizes!
