The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced its latest funding initiative for researchers from the Global South, including Brazilian researchers. The initiative aims to strengthen international scientific cooperation and research between Germany and selected countries.

Applications are open to doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, as well as experienced lecturers and researchers affiliated with higher education institutions. Applications from women and individuals from underrepresented regions or groups are particularly encouraged.

GROW supports both short stays in Germany for research purposes, as well as preparatory trips for networking and initiating academic collaborations. The programme supports projects that contribute to global challenges in various fields such as climate, education, governance, and health.
