Selection of courses/modules
At the department of biology, courses are typically assigned via an online election system that are managed by the faculty itself. The link to access the online election can be found under the slider "ongoing elections" if the module you want to register for is currently selectable. Otherwise, they will be listed under the slider "upcoming elections". Under the slider "completed elections" you can find the results of the election.
Keep in mind that you need to register for your examinations via QISPOS or the CMS (M.Sc. study programs) within the registration period.
If any problems occur, for example with your assigned course, please contact biostudium@uni-muenster.de.
Deregistration of Specialization - and Advanced Modules:
Withdrawal must be made as early as possible – but at least four weeks before the start of the module – and in any case before the preliminary meeting. If withdrawal is made at a later date, it is at the discretion of the module provider to certify that the withdrawal was made in good time. Students who do not withdraw from modules in good time will be centrally excluded from online module allocation for the following semester.
Withdrawal is carried out as follows: Send an email addressed simultaneously to both biostudium@uni-muenster.de and the email address of the course provider. Use the following template and fill in all the necessary details.[This email replaces the previous procedure involving a form.]
Important: If you withdraw from a module, please also remember to cancel any registrations you may have already made in QISPOS or SLcM yourself.
