New job: Dr. Marina Vortmann started her new job at Rottendorf Pharma GmbH

Only two weeks after obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Marina Vortmann started her new job in the Product Performance Department of Rottendorf Pharma GmbH in Ennigerloh, close to Münster. She will be responsible for all kind of documentation required for pharmaceutical products, from production and quality control through marketing to performance. For her doctoral project, Marina had worked in our national Public Private Partnership AIF-ZIM project “F2F - Fungal Fermentation Wastes for the Production of Fine Chemicals”. Remarkably, Marina took over full responsibility for all project documentations including in particular the periodic reports to the Federal Ministry of Commerce and Energy, BMWi - quite unusual for a doctoral candidate. She is also the co-author of two papers already published and the first author of one paper which is currently in the review process, plus one more manuscript which is in preparation. In parallel to her research work, she successfully participated i.a. at the White Belt and Green Belt trainings for Industrial Pharma Management offered by the Graduate School of BioSciences - which was apparently one of the main success criteria for securing her fast job offer. We are a little proud of this success of one of us ourselves, and as her new job is close to Münster, we are sure to stay in close contact with you, Marina. All the best for a rewarding career!
