When: 28 April 2026, 15:30-17:30 CEST

Where: Online (via Zoom)

Who: The workshop is aimed at university students who are interested in social impact, entrepreneurship, empowerment, innovation, equality, diversity, and inclusion. Whether you already have an idea of your own or are simply curious to learn, you are very welcome to join.

Through projects such as Rainbow Ribbon and the community café Ponq, they create empowering spaces for connection and expression. The session will offer practical insights into how entrepreneurship can be rooted in community and inclusion.

  • Additional speaker (tbc)

A further speaker from the start-up and social innovation ecosystem will complement the programme.

What to expect?

During the workshop, you will gain insights into real entrepreneurial journeys and impact-driven innovation from speakers working at the intersection of inclusion, empowerment, and social change. The session offers insight into how ideas develop over time and what it means to translate them into practice.

The format combines short inputs with opportunities for exchange. Participants are invited to ask questions and reflect on their own ideas. The workshop is designed to be accessible and engaging for all participants – whether you already have an interest in entrepreneurship or are just beginning to explore the topic.

What’s in it for you?

This workshop offers you the opportunity to:

  • learn from real entrepreneurial journeys
  • gain practical insights into meaningful innovation
  • explore your own ideas and perspectives
  • connect with students across Europe

Why intersectionality?

When thinking about impact, it matters whose perspectives are included. An intersectional approach helps to recognise how factors such as gender, social background, or other aspects of identity shape opportunities and challenges – and why more inclusive approaches often lead to more impactful solutions.

Programme

The workshop begins with a short welcome and introduction, followed by inputs from invited speakers and a live Q&A. An interactive session invites participants to share ideas and questions in a simple and accessible format – via Miro. The workshop concludes with key takeaways and final reflections.

Our goal: a respectful and inclusive space

This workshop addresses topics related to inclusion and intersectionality. We are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive environment in which all participants feel welcome.

Active participation is encouraged, but not required. Participants are free to decide how much they would like to contribute. We ask everyone to engage respectfully and to help create a space in which different perspectives can be shared constructively.
