Developing Management and Personal Skills focusing on Conflict and Crisis Management
In today’s globalized world, professionals must manage crises—such as pandemics, disasters, and emergencies—while addressing conflicts in diverse communities and organizations. This course builds skills in crisis and conflict management, emphasizing support for vulnerable groups. Topics include conflict resolution, crisis communication, emergency leadership, and strategies to foster resilience and stability.
When: 07 November - 22 November 2025 (2 evenings during each week + Fridays afternoon)

Applications will be evaluated based on the motivation provided, and applicants will be informed of the selection results and next steps accordingly.
Course Content:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of crisis and risk management principles and strategies.
- Explore crisis prevention, preparedness, and response in various sectors, including public, social, and health organizations.
- Study practical applications through real-world examples of conflict and crisis situations.
- Develop skills to handle real-world crises while promoting well-being and inclusivity.
- Learn to address the needs of diverse and vulnerable populations in crisis scenarios.
Assessment: Assignments and forum discussions in between the webinars
Student Union and administrative fees:
Please note that this course is offered by the Ulysseus partner university MCI - The Entrepreneurial School. All students enrolled in courses at Austrian higher education institutions are required to pay a mandatory Austrian Student Union (ÖH) membership fee. In addition, MCI charges a small administrative fee to cover organizational services and course-related support. Both the Austrian Student Union (ÖH) fee and the administrative fees together make up EUR 50. After registration and successful admission to the course, students will receive an invoice from MCI covering both the Austrian Student Union (ÖH) fee and the administrative fee. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded an official Microcredential Certificate.
Enrollment in the course is only possible once the Austrian Student Union (ÖH) fee and administrative fee have been successfully paid.
