In the seminar we will discuss advanced topics in probability theory. The topics will be Machine Learning and Lévy Processes. The seminar aims to improve the presentation skills. It further provides opportunities to approach a topic for a Master thesis. Please feel free to contact the organisers (independently of the preliminary meeting) if you are interested in writing a MSc thesis in a topic related to probability. Then the organisers will take this into account when distributing the topics of the talks. |
