On April 22, 2022, the  election assembly of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster approved the proposals of Rector Prof. Dr. Johannes Wessels for the Vice-Rectors. Prof. Maike Tietjens will serve as Vice-Rector for a second term in the newly named Vice-Rectorate for Academic Career Development and Diversity.
