Dieter Tippenhauer, a successful Bundesliga soccer coach, has died at the age of 77. In 1975, he completed his soccer teaching license and joined Fortuna Düsseldorf, with whom he won the DFB Cup in 1979. In 2010, he earned his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Bernd Strauß from the department of Sport Psychology. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dieter can certainly agree that he had an infectious positive charisma that was motivating for many. Our condolences go out to his family.
