AOR Dr. Barbara Halberschmidt was appointed to the scientific advisory board of the "Safety in Sport" foundation (NRW). The foundation works to understand how, when and why sports accidents and injuries occur and how they can be prevented. To this end, they work together with associations, sports organisations, science and politics in projects. The results are passed on to athletes, trainers, coaches and sports clubs.
