The state-of-the-art cryogenic transmission electron microscope (cryo-TEM) is equipped with a Cold Field Emission Gun (CFEG), a Selectris-X energy filter, a Falcon 4i camera, and a 12-grid autoloader. It enables the rapid acquisition of large datasets at the highest possible quality and is suitable for both the collection of high-resolution tomograms and automated tomography data acquisition. In addition, the system supports automated data collection for Single Particle Analysis (SPA). With a spherical aberration coefficient (Cs) of 2.7 mm and an acceleration voltage of 300 kV, the microscope provides optimal conditions for high-resolution structural investigations in cryo-electron microscopy.
