Lecture series “Resilience & Active Hope: Dealing with the climate crisis”
The sustainability network of universities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Humboldtⁿ, has set itself the goal of taking “joint responsibility for the issues of the future in the area of sustainability”. The network places “the indispensable sustainability discourses of politics, business and society on a thematically broad, differentiated and rapidly growing scientific basis”. One element of the network's activities is the lecture series.
This winter semester, a lecture series will be held on the topic of “Resilience & Active Hope: Dealing with the climate crisis”, which begins on 10.10.24 and will mainly take place online. Dr. Daniela Pastoors and Prof. Dr. Tillmann Buttschardt, two ZIN researchers, will open and close the series of events. Humboldtⁿ invites to an interactive workshop in Münster at the end of the series on 16.12.24 from 12 to 4 pm. The topic of the hybrid closing event is “Deep Adaptation - an approach to dealing with the changes that will occur?”. Information on earning credit points and the program can be found on the Humboldtⁿ website.
