Brief biography
At the MEET Battery Research Center at Münster University (WWU) Adrienne Hammerschmidt has been responsible for the project management and MEET administration since September 2016. After attaining her doctorate degree (1993) in inorganic solid state chemistry, she gained over 20 years of work experience in different positions at the WWU, including a perennial employment in the special collaborative research project 458 “Ion motion in materials with disordered structures – from elementary step to macroscopic transport”. Meanwhile she was also working for the project-executing agency ETN (Forschungs-zentrum Jülich) and coordinated on behalf of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia the research activities as well as the corresponding public relations for the Battery Compe-tence Center. Adrienne Hammerschmidt has been involved in more than 30 scientific publications and numerous conference presentations.
