10th anniversary at Hannover Messe and Advanced Battery Power/Kraftwerk Batterie

In the beginning of April there will be first-hand information about research at MEET Battery Research Center both at "Advanced Battery Power" in Aachen and at "Hannover Messe" in Hanover. As co-organizer of Advanced Battery Power, MEET is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the conference this year, and there will also be the same anniversary at the Hannover Messe, where the Battery Research Center will be exhibiting for the 10th time in a row.

Advanced Battery Power
From 3 to 4 April the symposium "Advanced Battery Power - Kraftwerk Batterie" will take place in Aachen. A first-class programme with 70 lectures and 180 poster presentations will give you the opportunity to get first-hand information about the latest advances in battery research and application. The conference is open to all participants interested in the research, development and application of batteries. One day before the conference, on 2 April, the Battery Day NRW will take place.

Since 2009, Münster and Aachen have hosted the conference alternately. This year's conference will be organized by Haus der Technik (Essen), the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) of RWTH Aachen University, MEET and the Helmholtz-Institute Münster of Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Hannover Messe
For more than 6,500 companies and research institutions exhibiting at fairs, the annual Hannover Messe is a jewel among all exhibitions. From 1 to 5 April, Hannover Messe 2019 will open its doors to present the latest advances in technology to 220,000 expected visitors. As the largest capital goods fair in the world, the Hannover Messe is one of the superlative events in the industrial sector. As part of the NRW joint stand in Hall 2, MEET will offer exciting insights into the further development of high-performance battery cells achieved through the synthesis and characterization of new active and non-active materials.
