International Conference “Advanced Battery Power” 2021 will be held digital and analog

Call for papers open until 31 October 2020

The internationally conference "Advanced Battery Power" will celebrate a premiere next year: On 28-29 April 2021 the conference will be held for the first time as a hybrid event digital and analog. In addition to participation on site at Haus der Technik in Essen, online participation is also possible. The Call for Papers is open until 31 October 2020. In the past more than 750 guests from all over the world attended the renowned battery conference.

Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) of RWTH Aachen University is organizing the international event together with MEET Battery Research Center of the University of Münster, Helmholtz Institute Münster (Forschungszentrum Jülich) and Haus der Technik (Essen). Interested parties from the fields of research, development and application of batteries are invited to attend the conference in English language. Münster and Aachen have been alternate venues for the established conference in the past.

Broad range of topics covers the entire value chain

From the current state of research on lithium-ion batteries, novel battery systems and innovative materials to fields of application, production, second life and recycling, the topics of the 2021 conference cover the entire value-added cycle of batterie cells.

In advance of the conference "Advanced Battery Power" Battery Day NRW will take place on 27 April 2021. The venue is also Haus der Technik in Essen who organizses the event together with the clusters "EnergyResearch.NRW", "EnergyRegion.NRW" and "NanoMicroMaterialsPhotonics.NRW".
