(07.08.2018) On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Münster Department of Communication (IfK), the next annual DGPuK (The German Communication Association) conference will take place in Münster from May 9th till May 11th, 2019. The conference with the title “Integration through Communication in digitized public spheres“ will bring together around 500 participants.

Under the title “Integration through Communication in digitized public spheres”, the conference will focus on contributions and answers communication science may provide for questions concerning the integration of digitized public spheres, characterized by the interaction of classic and new digital media. Among the topics of discussion will be the significance of public communication for social cohesion in digitized public spheres and the resulting potentials and risks.

The Call for Papers is now online: The professional public is invited to submit analyses and articles on the subject “Integration through Communication in digitized public spheres” or for the open panels. Further information on the submissions and the registration can be found on the conference’s website. The DGPuK organization team is happy to answer any further questions.
