Learning Agreement
In accordance with the provisions of the ERASMUS program, all ERASMUS students must draw up a Learning Agreement (a preliminary study plan) at the beginning of their stay abroad and, upon their return, send a Transcript of Records (an overview of the courses completed) from their host university (University of Münster) to their home university.
With the Learning Agreement, you agree on your preliminary study plan for your ERASMUS stay with your ERASMUS coordinator at your home university and the coordinator at the University of Münster. Further information on course selection at the University of Münster can be found on the “Course Selection” page.
The Learning Agreement must—if possible—be completed online. You will receive a link for the Learning Agreement from your home university. Your Learning Agreement will be sent directly to the SIZ for review via the OLA website.
IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee spots in FFA courses or courses from the semester two terms ahead. Since you cannot add comments in the OLA and this is necessary in the cases mentioned, your OLA will be returned to you via email as a PDF file.
If you do not select any FFA courses or courses from the semester two terms ahead in the OLA, the OLA will be sent back to you and your home university directly via the portal.
The person responsible for receiving documents and, therefore, for signing the learning agreements at the Faculty of Law at the University of Münster is:

Please also note that Certificates of Attendance (Certificates of Arrival and Departure) are NOT signed by the faculty, but by the Exchange Student Service (admin.ess@uni-muenster.de).
Transcript of Records
At the end of the semester, students can request a transcript of records. This document lists all coursework completed at the University of Münster.
You will not receive the transcript of records automatically. You must request it.
How to request your transcript of records:
1. Fill out both forms completely:
2. Send both documents in a single email to siz@uni-muenster.de.
3. Submit all course certificates (“Scheine”) you have received to room J111a, or send scanned copies of them to siz@uni-muenster.de.
Note: Only the results of your written exams at the Faculty of Law are automatically sent to us electronically. You must provide proof of all other course work (e.g., language courses at the Language Center, graded essays, oral exams)!
As soon as we have received all your transcripts in our office, we will verify your information and send two copies of your Transcript of Records to your coordinator at your home university at the address you provided.
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
The International Office has also issued a ToR form. Which one should I use?
Please use only the template provided by the Faculty of Law. Only this template contains all the relevant conversion tables for law courses.
I’m staying in Münster for two semesters. Do I have to request a Transcript of Records every semester?
Yes. The Transcript of Records is only issued for one semester at a time.
Where can I find the course numbers?
Please refer to the course catalog for the course numbers.
I’ve been waiting a very long time for my exam results. What can I do?
Unfortunately, you’ll just have to wait. The grading period for final exams often takes 2–3 months. During this time, you can check via WiLMa 1 to see if your grades are available yet.
