5th Constitutional Moot Court 2017
On 01.07. it was finally time: The 36 students, who had prepared for their participation in the Constitutional Law Moot Court 2017 for two months, could finally make their pleas before the judges of the Münster Federal Constitutional Court!
Not only at the final rounds in the Constitutional Court of North Rhine-Westphalia, impressive achievements of the junior lawyers, who were mostly studying in the second semester, could be admired. In terms of content, it was about the freedom of worldview and assembly as well as the protection of the silent holidays. In nine preliminary round matches as well as semi-finals and finals, the participants were evaluated for both the legal salary of their pleas and their appearance and the quick handling of inquiries from the judges' bench. But the cohesion and the collegial behaviour of the teams of four were also honoured.
The Moot Court was organized by the Chair Prof. Petersen specifically by Jana Lohmann and Isabel Lischewski Moot Court and was supported by the Freundeskreis Rechtswissenschaft der WWU. It took place in the second year of cooperation with the OVG/VGH Münster. The organizers would like to thank all supporters, the volunteers and judges as well as the teams for their efforts.
