The use of digital tools in mathematics education, modeling and applications of mathematics, and the transition from school to university are the three focal points of Prof. Greefrath's working group on mathematics didactics with a focus on secondary education.

These topics are also interconnected in many ways: Working on authentic problems often requires the use of digital tools. If one works with computers, one must also ask oneself which basic skills one should have acquired at the end of one's school career.
