Our research network explores the history and archaeology of ancient Greece through topographical, spatial, and environmental lenses. We bridge theory and fieldwork by hosting an international lecture series, organizing dedicated research days, and conducting cutting-edge archaeohistorical fieldwork—with a primary focus on ancient Amyklai near Sparta. Epichorios also houses the editorial of Teiresias Journal Online and Teiresias Supplements Online, to inform about and foster research on Thebes and Boiotia.
