Research within the CRC1199 project:
As part of the CRC1199 subproject 'Reimaginings of Land and Agriculture in the Context of Digitalization (C04)', Pia Schütt focuses on current changes in the agri-food sector in the Lower Saxony (Germany) – a region known for its highly developed agricultural landscape and its pioneering role in the development of agricultural systems technologies. The research centres on different actors in the local agricultural sector (researchers, engineers, programmers, investors, farmers, etc.) and investigates how these actors cooperate in the development, production and implementation of digital agricultural technologies. In addition, the project seeks to understand how different funding structures (public, private, financial sector, etc.) influence the research process and the development of technologies for the (local) agri-food sector.
