Ethical thinking across religious, political, and planetary borders

Mit der Veröffentlichung der neusten Folge des TheoPodcasts der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Münster startete heute eine Reihe von vier englischsprachigen Folgen zum Thema „Borders and Boundaries“. Die Reihe ist eine Kooperation zwischen dem TheoPodcast und der Katholischen Akademie in Berlin.

Den Anfang macht Dr. Gary Slater, wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am unserem Institut, mit der Folge zum Thema „Ethical thinking across religious, political and planetary borders“:

When the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, the world had fifteen international border walls. Today it has seventy-four. Across every continent except Antarctica, borders are increasingly prominent, monitored, reinforced, and transgressed. In this podcast, Dr. Gary Slater shows how the world's borders can be organized into a short list of different forms, with three particular types of borders — religious borders, political borders, and ecological borders — interacting in a way that is uniquely analytically stimulating, morally compelling, and relevant to some of the most significant challenges of the twenty first century.
