Teaching

The current details of all modules offered with the participation of the working group can be found in the online module handbook. If you have any questions about a specific course, please contact us.

Bachelor's and Master's Theses

The final theses are always based on the current research of the working group. See the current publications for an overview. We also offer experimental final theses to teacher training students.

Methods used in the working group:

  • Fundamental molecular biological and protein biochemical methods (including Golden-Gate cloning, PCR, gel electrophoresis, protein overexpression, SDS-PAGE, and Western blot)
  • Fluorometric-based fluorescence spectra of various biosensors, as well as biochemical assays for characterization
  • stable and transient plant transformations
  • Microplate reader-based fluorometry for high-throughput experiments to observe and analyze plant energy metabolism
  • Confocal laser scanning microscopy

If you are interested in writing a thesis, please contact us directly. The best way to do this is by emailing Daniela Döben (ddoeben@uni-muenster.de), Dr. Jan-Ole Niemeier (jniemeier@uni-muenster.de), or Prof. Dr. Markus Schwarzländer (markus.schwarzlander@uni-muenster.de).
