Janis Dabisch did his undergraduate studies at Freie Universität Berlin first in the direction of organelle targeting and alternative splicing and later in oxylipin signalling during herbivory attacked plants. Since February 2022 he is doing his PhD about Lipid droplet proteins in Arabidopsis thaliana with a focus on a lipid droplet-plasma membrane tethering complex and its physiological role in seed germination and seedling establishment.
He is enrolled in the SPBioscience, where he was one of the elected PhD representatives from 2023-2025.
