3D-Lab

The 3D Laboratory at the Archaeological Museum of the University of Münster is the place
to support the three-dimensional virtual safeguarding of cultural
support. A laser scanner can already be used to digitise small and large objects in the museum and from the excavations of the WWU.

 The 3D visualisation of architecture can be viewed with VR glasses
and, in the future, digital 3D methods will be increasingly used in the fieldwork in
