Sibylle-Hahne-Founders-Prize of the University of Münster
With the support of the Sibylle-Hahne-Foundation, the University of Münster awarded a prize for outstanding start-up projects for the first time in 2015. Researchers from the University of Münster are also eligible to receive the award in recognition of their support of entrepreneurial teams. The prize was awarded a second time in 2017 and will likely be awarded a third time in 2019.
The prize is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Sibylle-Hahne-Foundation. Sibylle Hahne, who took over the operations of her father's Datteln-based company "Heinrich Hahne GmbH" after World War II, established her family's foundation 24 years ago. The "Sibylle-Hahne-Founders Prize" was created to commemorate her family's entrepreneurial commitment and motivate members of the University to start their own enterprises.
