Interface Physics Group Prof. Dr. Harald Fuchs
The Interface Physics Group is headed by Prof. Dr. Harald Fuchs and was founded in 1993. Currently five teams around Prof. Fuchs explore nanoscale phenomena and their application to nanotechnology. They are located at the Physical Institute and at the Center for Nanotechnology (CeNTech).
Dreams and Visions as the driving force
“Being able to analyze and to systematically modify matter directly on a molecular and atomic scale has been a dream of scientists for decades and even centuries. I am very happy that the work of my group contributes to make this dream come true.” (Harald Fuchs)
