Ulysseus, the European University for the citizens of the future: An international, open-minded, people-centred and entrepreneurial university that will shape the future of Europe.

Ulysseus is one of the current 41 European universities funded by the European Commission and the EU through Erasmus+, originally with 6 members (Universidad de Sevilla (Spain), Université Côte d'Azur (France), Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy), Technická univerzita v Košiciach (Slowakia), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finnland) and MCI® Management Center Innsbruck (Austria). Since July 2022, the University of Münster is a full member. The University of Montenegro joined the network as the eighth partner.

The European Universities initiative aims to create transnational alliances that will develop into universities of the future, promoting European values and identity and thus revolutionizing the quality and competitiveness of European higher education.

Ulysseus’s Vision

Ulysseus’s vision is to develop a European University of recognized excellence, based on the European values of social cohesion and respect for human rights. The alliance firmly believed that European universities should be open to the world, institutions of solidarity beyond European borders.
