The Ulysseus International Weeks is a two-week online event designed to introduce you to study, exchange, and intercultural opportunities within the Ulysseus European University Alliance.
From 9–19 February, learn more about study options at our 8 partner universities through interactive online sessions. Get an overview of Erasmus+ opportunities, academic programmes, campus life, and student support services. Monday, 9 February
16:00-16:25 Introduction to Ulysseus – Kick-off session Learn about the Ulysseus European University Alliance and the many mobility and learning opportunities available to students. Meet UlySA and discover how students play an active role in shaping the Ulysseus community.
16:30-16:55 Introduction to MOOC AI Entrepreneurship Incubator. This MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) explores the intersection of AI and entrepreneurship. This MOOC will equip you with the skills and knowledge to apply entrepreneurial tools and AI solutions to real business challenges. Join the session to learn more!
10–19 February – University-specific Erasmus sessions
Throughout the two weeks, each Ulysseus partner university will host a dedicated spotlight session for incoming students, focusing on:
- Erasmus+ exchange opportunities
- Academic offers and study programmes
- Practical information about studying at the host institution
- Campus life and student support services

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master: imAGEin - The Biology of Ageing
imAGEin is a multidisciplinary, two-year international Master’s programme in Ageing Biology, open to students worldwide who hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). It offers an innovative combination of theoretical foundations and hands-on research training, supported by international mobility across five leading European universities in the field of ageing biology: Université Côte d’Azur (France), Sorbonne Université (France), University of Cologne (Germany), University of Seville (Spain) and University of Coimbra (Portugal).
Students can specialize in one of three study tracks: Fundamental Research, Applied Biomedical Research, or Innovation & Biotechnology.
Top-ranked applicants will be awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship (€1,400/month) for the full duration of the programme*. The programme offers fee waivers for self-funded students.
Applications will open on January 6, 2026, and close on March 6, 2026.

Generative AI in European Business
The emergence of generative AI technologies has revolutionized various industries in Europe and around the world, enabling innovative solutions in business development and operations.
This course offers both foundational knowledge and hands-on insights into leveraging AI for competitive advantage. It also provides insightful case studies around Europe as well as looks into most recent research around AI from a variety of European universities.

Introduction to Design Thinking
Are you new to Design Thinking and eager to understand what it’s all about? You are welcome to our beginner-friendly Design Thinking MOOC. You’ll explore Design Thinking not only as a process, but also as a mindset, a set of practices, and a way of thinking that can transform how you approach problems in different fields.
Through real-life cases and insightful interviews with entrepreneurs, you’ll see how Design Thinking is applied in practice to solve challenges, drive innovation, and make a real impact.
Unlike many traditional MOOCs, this course does not include quizzes or tests. Instead, all course assignments are based onreflection, which enables you to think how Design Thinking relates to your academic journey, personal life, and future career. The course has a duration of 4 weeks.

Sustainable Design Thinking
Are you ready to work on a real-world challenge that truly matters? In this course, you will not just learn about sustainability and design thinking, but you will experience it. Together with fellow students you dive into a real-life challenge and use Design Thinking to create solutions that can make a difference.
This course is your chance to explore how sustainability connects your community, and your own life. You gain practical tools, collaborate across disciplines, and build the mindset needed to design responsibly for the future. Because this is not just another course, it is an opportunity to make an impact, grow your skills, and shape your professional identity. If you are curious, and motivated to help build a more sustainable world, this course is for you. Join us and let’s design change together!
The course is self-paced with weekly assignments. The first three weeks focus on individual learning assignments, followed by five weeks of team-based work on a real-life challenge.

SMILE study programme - Sustainable Management in Life Sciences & Engineering
SMILE combines specific and interdisciplinary training in the areas of sustainability management in life sciences with complementary training offered at each partner university and training in high-level digital skills, languages, critical thinking, creativity, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship as key transversal skills to provide solutions to global problems.
To achieve the learning outcomes, the co-creation group established a 120 ECTS study programme, divided into two years (4 semesters, 30 ETCS each), with three main parts (the “Core semesters”, the “specialisation semester, and the “getting into the sector semester”).
From the structural point of view, SMILE begins with two core semesters including physical mobility. Students then choose a specialisation according to their preference and finish the programme by writing a Master Thesis.
1st semester: Foundations of Sustainable Management at MCI
2nd semester: Consolidation and general principles of Sustainable management at HSWT
3rd semester: Specialisations:
– Specialisation 1: Sustainable Food Systems, (University of Sevilla)
