Dr. Ralf Kredel
Dr. Ralf Kredel is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Sport Science at the University of Bern, Switzerland, in the Department of Movement and Exercise Science. He earned his degree as Diplom-Ingenieur (DH) in Electrical Engineering from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Ravensburg. After holding professional positions in Germany and China, he returned to academia and completed his PhD in Sport Science at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Dr. Kredel's research centers on motor control and learning of complex naturalistic tasks, with a strong emphasis on translating fundamental scientific insights into practical applications in sports. He has been instrumental in the development of innovative tools such as the Bern Sensorimotor Lab, which leverages eye tracking and virtual reality technology to study human motor behavior.
