
Prof. Dr. Bert Steenbergen
Bert Steenbergen is a full Professor at the Behavioural Science Institute at Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands and vice dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He received his Master in Human Movement Science at the Free University of Amsterdam and obtained his PhD in Social Sciences at Radboud University. Professor Bert Steenbergen studies motor control, motor learning, motor development, and motor disorders. In all projects, the theoretically and fundamentally oriented research is translated into practice. He is the initiator of the transdisciplinary research theme 'Active Living', in which the core question is how people can be encouraged to become and stay active.
