
Dr. Jorik Nonnekes
Jorik Nonnekes is an Associate Professor and consultant in rehabilitation medicine at the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Both his clinical and scientific work focuses on neurological gait impairments, with specific emphasis on gait impairments in Parkinson’s disease, rare and inherited movement disorders, and upper motor neuron lesions (eg stroke). Jorik leads his own research group and has published more than 140 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
