Biography

After completing her Bachelor's degree (Hispanic Studies/Language Teaching Research) at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Katharina Grenningloh completed the additional course German as a Foreign Language/Teaching German Abroad (2009) and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Language Teaching Research in 2010, also at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Already during her studies, she spent three semesters at the University of Oviedo and finally worked as an assistant lecturer for German at the Casa de las Lenguas of the University of Oviedo from 2009 to 2011 within the framework of the university partnership between the two universities. During this time, she also led the Tandem Intensive Courses together with her colleagues from Bochum.

Between 2007 and 2012, she taught German as a foreign language as a (freelance) lecturer at various institutions in Oviedo, Düsseldorf and Berlin before joining the Language Centre of the University of Münster in 2012.
