Dr. Michael Brunner, Research Associate in the Office of the Center for Religion and Modernity, will present his current research entitled "Protestant Internationalism, American Mission, and Asian Christianity between Imperialism and Decolonization, c. 1920-1950" to CRM members and staff. In the lecture and discussion session, Mr. Brunner will present research questions, results, and problems from his ongoing research on the history of Protestant internationalism in the interwar period, the International Missionary Council, and "secular" mission and cooperation programs between North America and (South) Asia. The project presentation will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Arnulf von Scheliha.
