Prof. Olness (Dallas, USA) on sabbatical at ITP

From February to April 2022, the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Münster has the honor of hosting Distinguished Professor Fredrick Olness from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, for his research sabbatical. Prof. Olness is a theoretical particle physicist and a leading expert in the structure of protons and nuclei. On April 7, he will give the first departmental colloquium of the summer term presenting his research performed in collaboration with his Münster colleagues. Together with the group of Prof. Klasen and other members of the nCTEQ collaboration, he is developing a new set of nuclear parton distribution functions using the wealth of precision data from the JLab, RHIC, & LHC experiments.
